7th Grade Volleyball Report from Coach Williams: The Lady Rams hosted Burleson Hughes on Thursday night. The A-Team Lady Rams worked hard as they played Burleson Hughes, but lost 13-25 and 10-25. Leading the Lady Rams offensively as well as defensively was Brittney Pagan with 5 passes to target, 4 serves, 1 hit and 1 ace serve. Also doing well, was Brei Ruelas with 3 good passes, 2 good serves and one hit. The B-Team Lady Rams fought hard against Burleson Hughes but fell short in two games 24-26 and 13-25. Leading the Lady Rams in points was Rachel Carter with 7 serves and 2 ace serves, close behind her was Kassidy Austin with 5 good serves and 1 ace serve. Leading the defensive charge was Ambria Luster with 8 passes to target and following her lead was Katheryn Monzon with 4 passes to target. The C-Team played a very tough team to 3 consecutive matches, unfortunately losing to Hughes in the 3 match. The scores were 17-25 Mineral Wells, 22-25 Burleson, and 18-25 Burleson. Claudia Rangel led the team with 10 great serves, 3 aces and 8 passes to target. Also scoring well for the Lady Rams were Madison Merritt with 17 great serves, Destiny Prescott with 7 great serves and Asia Fritts with 4 great serves.
