8/15/14-Thought for the day... Yesterday, we talked about healing and having faith He will answer us. Today, I would like to touch on ultimate healing. I have heard people that have prayed and stood in agreement for healing, only for God to take their loved one Home. I have heard them say that God ignored their prayers or they say that they must have had some kind of sin keeping God from hearing their prayers. I recieved a message from God, a while back, to share with those that have lost loved ones, that not only did He hear the prayers, but He gave them the Ultimate Healing. Our bodies, in this life, are just a shell for our spirit. Our shell can become sick and diseased. Our shell can grow old, but our spirit remains forever young and healthy. God knows whats best for our bodies and spirit. When our bodies have suffered enough, God brings our spirit Home where there is no more pain and suffering. Sometimes, our loved ones may be taken suddenly. God knows that if they stay here on this earth, they would suffer, so He brings them Home. Our bodies, here on earth, are jealous and we dont want to lose the ones we love, but we should remember that this lifetime is only temporary and we have life enernal with God which is permanent. Philippians 1:21 Paul said, For to me, to live is Christ and to die is gain. Paul was not afraid to die and actually looked forward to going Home. What he meant by that passage was, living for Christ and doing everything for His grace and dieing is so much better; living with Christ. 2 Timothy 1:10 says, But is has now been revealed through the appearing of our Savior, Christ Jesus, who has destroyed death and has brought life and immortality to light through the gospel. I want to close with a special scripture that talks about the Ultimate Healing. Revelation 22:1-5, Then I saw a new heaven and a new earth, for the first heaven and the first earth had passed away, and the sea was no more. And I saw the holy city, new Jerusalem, coming down out of heaven from God, prepared as a bride adorned for her husband. And I heard a loud voice from the throne saying, “Behold, the dwelling place of God is with man. He will dwell with them, and they will be his people, and God himself will be with them as their God. He will wipe away every tear from their eyes, and death shall be no more, neither shall there be mourning, nor crying, nor pain anymore, for the former things have passed away.” And he who was seated on the throne said, “Behold, I am making all things new.” Also he said, “Write this down, for these words are trustworthy and true. God does answer and hear our prayers! Sometimes its not what we want but have faith that He knows whats best. God Bless you all~Bill
