8/20/2014 - 10:15 PM - UPDATE When Karl and I got there this morning Val was asleep. I was afraid he had not slept during the night, but they said that he had. I opened up all blinds, turned on all lights and music, etc. The Speech Therapist and I had to have a talk with him about having to work hard whether he wants to or not. He is very weak so I know it is hard for him, but he has got to work through it. When PT came in Karl and I went to get some lunch. When we got back PT was telling us how wonderful Val did and how hard he worked. Guess the talk did the job. Val mentioned Dick today. He said, I miss my brother. Dont know anything yet about approval or denial from BCBS. Hoping to hear tomorrow. Lord, help us to get through this time and bring Val back to full strength and health. Thank you for your continued prayers
