8 DAYS 7 NIGHTS BIBLELAND TOUR 8 Days / 7 Nights BIBLELAND TOUR. MONDAY ARRIVAL IN TEL AVIV. MONDAY DAY 1. JERUSALEM. ( D ). Upon arrival in Tel Aviv Airport meet our representative and transfer to hotel in Jerusalem for overnight stay in Hotel. TUESDAY. DAY 2. JERUSALEM. Sightseeing of the New City. ( B / D ). Start the day with a Panoramic view of Jerusalem from the top of Mount of Olives. Then proceed to the Garden of Gathsemane and Church of the Agony. Continue to Israel Museum with the Shrine of the Book with the famous Dead Sea scrolls, then a visit to the beautifully renovated Model of the Herodian city of Jerusalem dating back to the time of the Second Temple. Continue to Yad Vashem the memorial of the six million Jews who were killed in the Holocaust. Afternoon visit to the picturesque village of Ein Karem, the birth place of John the Baptist. Overnight in Hotel. WEDNESDAY DAY 3. JERUSALEM. Sightseeing of the Old City. – BETHLEHAM ( B / D ). Walk through one of the gates to the Walled Old City. Visit the renewed Jewish Quarter; the Western Wall, the Temple area; the colourful bazaars; Via Dolorosa- the stations of the Cross ending at the Church of the Holy Sepulcher. Drive to Mount Zion and visit the tomb of King David, the room of the Last Supper and the Dormition Abby. Afternoon continue to Bethelhem to visit the Church of Nativity and a view of the Shepherds fields. ( this site is under the Palestinian Authority Jurisdiction and visit is subject to situation, ) Return to Hotel for overnight. THURSDAY DAY 4. BEIT SHEAN – NAZARETH – GALILEE. ( B / D ). Leave Jerusalem, and drive north via Jericho, the oldest city in the world . ( this site is under the Palestinian Authority Jurisdiction and visit is subject to situation, ). We will proceed via the Jordan Valley to Beit Shean. Visit the excavation of this beautiful Roman City. Then to Nazareth to visit the Church of the Annunciation and Mary’s Well. On to Safed, city of the Kabala, for a walk through the mystic alleys and the artists’ colony. Drive to Kibbutz Hotel for overnight. FRIDAY DAY 5. BANIAS – GALILEE. ( B / D ). Today we will drive to see the former Syrian fortifications, and the Druze villages. Via Banias, source of the Jordan River. Then drive to the shores of the Sea of Galilee, to Capernaum, visit the ruins of the ancient synagogue and St. Peter’s House. Visit Tabgha, where the miracle of the Fish & Bread took place and then to Mount of Beatitude. After a short Tour of Tiberias, the old centre of Jewish learning, return to the Kibbutz hotel for overnight. SATURDAY DAY 6. ACRE – HAIFA – TEL AVIV. ( B / D ). After Breakfast drive west to Acre for a visit of the old, famous Crusader stronghold and medieval fortification. Continue to Haifa, sightseeing of Haifa, including the Bahai Shrine, Persian Garden and Mount Carmel for a panoramic view of the city. Proceed southwards to Caesarea to visit the Roman Theatre and the Crusaader fortress. Continue to Tel Aviv – Jaffa for a short city Tour and to Hotel for overnight. SUNDAY DAY 7. TEL AVIV. ( B / D ). Day at leisure in Tel Aviv. On your own. MONDAY DAY 8. TEL AVIV – DEPARTURE. ( B ). Breakfast and transfer to the Airport for departure. END OF TOUR. RATES: Land arrangements only.
