Looks like the constructors standing are pretty well set unless some high profile retirements happen in Brazil. Pirelli made the wrong choice of tires, it should have been the mediums and softs instead of the hards and mediums, but the race was still good and the attendance will be close to last years event. Big moment of excitement came when some rubber from a flat right rear on Paul Menards car wrapped around the axle and ignited, throwing embers onto the track and catching the whole right rear of the car on fire. Then things got really interesting, the heat melted the casing of the tire and it detonated, no injuries but several crewmen and an official were knocked backward by the force of the blast.
