82 days to CAT 2014.... Target this week to focus: 1. Algebra - Simple, Quadratic and Cubic Equations (basics and advance level) 2. Logical Reasoning - Analytical Puzzles and FIJ (basics and advance level) 3. AP GP Series 4. Practice a few RCs. Why I this weekly homework: I remember my old days of cat prep.. knew the time has come to pull up my socks and crack the cat.. every one around me was talking about cat.. but something was missing Like a good soldier I used to get ready everyday to study but the moment I open my cupboard I felt lost... what to study.. !! maths verbal logic or DI.. Every one was talking about CAT and its importance but no one talked about how to crack it. So I used my corporate workex and devised a plan and broke it down to monthy level small plans.. but still that was not enough... Even today same situtation is there for CAT prep.. students who hav just started are lost about their prep but students who started early are feeling the heat as well. I am not motivated enough to open any book moment I open the book I get lost.. my prep is haphazard too much to be done too less time These are some common comments I hear from students around me.. I made a point of launching strategy workshops on monthly basis.. i dont know if you hav seen but i am religiously posting monthly plans right from 9 months to CAT to 3 months to CAT.. and will continue to do so with 2 1 0 months to CAT.. Once in a month reminder was enough at that time as things were still warm but now time has come to become more actively engage.. so I am starting with my weekly targets.. feel free to customise them at ur own pace.. I will try to make my classroom and online students follow same plan by matching classes with this schedule. .. Just do these three topics... next week will bring in new topics.. Target will be to complete your syllabus by oct end.. before CAT.. obviously RC cannot be done in a week. will have 3 sessions of RC like this... so that we can cover all in next few weeks.. For last one month I will make it daily target/homework. so enjoy your mba prep journey.. keep ur hard work on. which college you get destiny will decide. All the best Rav Cetking
