#890 (Verified) Hello Vandy Secrets! I am one of the MDs from the new show coming out: Vanderbilt MDs. I signed up for the show because it sounded awesome to have that much money being thrown at me. However, I was wrong to accept it. This show is prying into the lives of real doctors like me and patients. I took an oath swearing that I would protect and help those in need. We follow HIPAA guidelines that give confidentiality to patients records. Watching patients be bugged by producers to sign away their confidentiality is revolting. I hate seeing them almost be forced to let the world know about their deadly diseases. This show is going to further desensitize us from diseases and death. On the show when you see death, it isnt a joke. This people REALLY did die. This isnt one of your other crime shows where death is fake. Who wants their death to be filmed for monetary reasons? It is disgusting. I am not going to stay for another season of this show (unfortunately Im bound to finish out this first season due to binding contracts. I am coming here to talk to the communities that will have the biggest effect, especially Nashville. You guys at Vanderbilt University, where young bright minds are being formed, can see the inhuman ways that this show is going. Please help by not watching the show. Email the producers showing your disgust with it. Dont let them get away with continuing this show. You guys can help shape the future. Please help me.
