9.00 AM Nola an American woman whos a great dog lover and came to live in Bang Saphan this year ARRIVED WITH A VERY SAD BADLY INJURED LITTLE PUPPY. She was at the market when she saw this poor little girl and asked people around if anyone was caring for the pup. Of course no-one knew so she picked her up and brought her to us after taking her to the vet for treatment. Our vet is very basic and has no x-ray facilities and certainly cant operate on a broken leg so were hoping little Isabelles aka Mochas leg isnt broken. She was obviously run over by a motorbike as a car would have killed her and her leg wound is down to the bone. She also has a large scrape wound on her side which happily is drying out and shes already licked off the dead skin. Little Isabelle/Mocha....which name would our Friends prefer?...has a very sweet nature and hasnt complained since her arrival this morning. I think the accident happened a few days ago and the poor little pup must have been in terrible pain and probably still is. We left her to settle in today but tomorrow well re-dress her leg wound when well have a better idea if its broken or not. Thank you Nola for bringing Isabelle/Mocha to us and for sponsoring her for 2 months. I hope by that time shell be fully recovered and we can start to look for a loving home for her.
