9/11/2001 I was living in New York City in 2001, I used to visit a lot the book store in the World Trade Center, and hundreds of times took the subway down there. I remember I was off that day in 2001, and I decided to sleep a little bit more and while I was preparing my breakfast I saw on TV the second plane hitting the Twin Towers. I used to live at the time in Upper Manhattan. I was studying at the time part time at night at St. John’s University and they cancelled all the classes for a week. A terrible “mood ” covered all Manhattan that afternoon and night. Nobody knew what to do or think. 5 months before I was a in a party for more than 4 hours in Windows of the Worlds on the top of the Twin Towers. Sometimes I used to sit down in the Twin Towers Plaza just to look at the Towers. Three months later I went to work just 4 blocks from Ground Zero and two years later I used to work at night two blocks from Ground Zero. I remember how strange it felt to walk at night in that area. Later I went to work with TSA at New Ark Airport in New Jersey in the same gate and bag room of the United Airlines Flight 93. for a period I used to check passengers and bags from that same flight…It felt strange to check bags of the same flight just a time later….
