9/11/2001 was my first day back in the office after burying my daughter Sara the day before. I lost her at 20 weeks of pregnancy to a cord accident. A patient got a phone call that a plane hit the towers - I thought it must be a small plane. I was on the phone with my dad as the second tower fell. It felt like the whole world joined me in mourning. It is a very difficult time of year for so many people for me for so many reasons. I will run with Team RWB NYC tonight to the 9/11 memorial proudly and emotionally.
