9-11-2014...13 years ago a horrible tragedy touched this country. I remember the day as well as yesterday. Where I was at, what I was doing, the emotions that I felt. Today I still feel those emotions.. Hatred, Anger, Sorrow, Helplessness...All at one time. I still have profound emotions when I read, I watch, or I hear things from that day. My wife visited the memorial site when she was in NY last and brought me the album from the museum and pictures as well..I have looked at it many times when I am alone because of the emotions that it brings to the surface. I cry, I curse, I hurt for all those affected. Be it professional or civilian, I can not even imagine what they went through that day. I am proud to say that I have many friends in the emergency responder world, fire, ems, and police. I can only tell you that I love these men and women, no matter our differences, these are still my brothers and sisters. To all of them, thank you for your service to this country. To all of our service members, thank you for your continued service in protecting the way of life that we have. May we never forget what happened, how it affected us and use those memories to strengthen our bonds and our country. GOD BLESS
