Continued to make progress with Salty today. He lets me pet him and is coming to me when called at times. He is more playful and I was even able to brush him for a couple of seconds but he still will not let me wipe his eyes. As soon as I try, his tail tucks between his legs and he moves as far away from me as possible and lays down with his back to me. He is not ready yet but since it is only day 4 we will give him some more time so as not to undo the progress we have made.
