9/11 and HATING HATE WITH HATE..is like an eye for an eye that leaves the whole world blind (M Gandhi) I see posts by people pointing fingers at a specific religion and manipulating the details to still support the idea that one religion is better than another. How are we doing justice by honoring 9/11 and all that it reminds us of if were still doing what we did 13 years ago and hundreds of years ago. If you we know our history, we know that basically EVERY religion in the world has justifies its egos fears and hate under the name of religion. Yet, we know that religion wasnt created by those holy beings that we follow through these religions. Jesus did not create Christianity. Buddha did not create Buddhism, Mohammed did not create Islam etc. How are we to heal and encourage peace when we hypocritically point fingers with hate and hold dear fear in our heart. Didnt the great masters teach us to love from our hearts and confront our fears? Have we not learned...yet? Instead of projecting an ongoing deliverance of hate towards anyone, how about praying for love to make cutaway through so that peace is the bi-product? If we want things to change, we must first be the change we wish to see. Gandhi wasnt just pulling that out of his butt. Its real when we are willing to put it to use in our own lives. Lets start with that. Lets remember that these wars are bigger than religion. Lets remember that religion is a box and we have to think outside of the box. Lets remember that the death of countless many is a reminder of how we should live life today, fully, peacefully and completely as the divine meant us to do so. Death is the greatest teacher of how to be grateful for life. It can be extinguished just as quickly as blowing out a candle. No fighting. Lets embrace one another with love. Doing it the other way only leads to more death.
