9/11 for me isnt just a day for me to reflect on those who made the ultimate sacrifice, the victims and first responders who perished that day. That was the day my husband of just over a year went missing for over 9 hours and I was lucky enough to get him back. Although not everyone was so lucky, he has to live with some health conditions since that day. And not as terrible yet as some other survivors. While we have to make some lifestyle adjustments, I am truly grateful that we have had the chance to continue to build a life together. There was a time that I thought all my dreams went down with the towers. Like so many others.
