9/11 what a day that was for all of us. I wanted to share this with you. That day every year is a day of tears, sadness, remembrance of our homeland suffering I thought would never happen. My husband and other firefighters, the same amount of firefighters that lost their lives went met up together on the first anniversary on their bikes and rode in honor of this day for all who lost their lives, the brotherhood they share. On the way after going to Pennsylvania they rode to the Pentagon. When large groups of bikers ride, there are people who ride ahead to secure roads and stop, all roads had been sealed off for this huge ride. The firefighter who was at this road sealed off waited for all the bikes to go past. A transport vehicle, impatient, went around the road block and hit the firefighter on his bike. They lost one of their own. The people of towns they went through had banners up, fed them, what beautiful people can do when we come together as one. My Sons are both firefighters, I am so proud of my 3 firefighters. All the people who lost their lives that day, the families, our country I will always pray for. I didnt mean to write forever. I just wanted to tell you a real story that will always stay with me.
