9.14.2014 First day on the Red-hook fields and what a great day it was to play one 9 inning game. Dave and Marvin were team captains and Freddie and Rob were todays pitchers. Marvins team set the tone of the game early scoring 5 runs in the 1st inning. But Daves team battled back and eventually tied up the game at 7-7 in the top of the 3rd inning. The game did not stay tied to long as Marvins team scored 3 runs in the bottom of the 3rd and 4th inning to take a commanding lead in the game and eventually won the game 15-10. Freddie was the winning pitcher in the game. Hitting stars in the game were Nate going 5-5 with 2 home runs 2 doubles and a single and 4 runs scored. Heeday and Eddie F went 4-5 for Marvins team. For Daves team you had Jack R with 2 home runs and 3 runs scored, and Dave R. and Chris each going 4-5 in the game. See you all next week.
