(9-4) Philadelphia Eagles vs. (9-4) Dallas Cowboys Game Notes: This is the biggest Eagles-Cowboys game to date. Both teams are fighting not only for the NFC East, but are well in the race for the #1 seed in the NFC and the last time they met? Well, Philadelphia completely exposed them 33-10. There was alot of trash being talked after the game by Dallas. The defense said that we were nothing special, Dez Bryant said that we we dirty and Jason Garrett said that it was the cheapest game he has ever seen by the officials. I and many others picked Dallas to win the game... and they got completely floored. The Eagles honestly should have won that game 55-10 but we saved points for today. The Eagles have lost to San Francisco (When they were still good), Arizona (Who cant lose) Green Bay (Unbeatable) and Seattle (Currently Unbeatable.) We have lost to some very good teams this year which is nothing to shake our heads about. The Cowboys on the other hand, have been exposed by quite a few teams this year. Its obvious that Dallas strength is running the football. DeMarco Murray has done a fantastic job this season at running the ball, the offensive line has been spectacular and Tony Romo isnt throwing interceptions because of it. But the Eagles defensive line and secondary completed shut them down. The offensive line was exposed, Tony Romo was terrible and they had no answers. Defensively, the Cowboys are completely overachieving. They are slowing down, not covering as well, not tackling as well. We expected the Boys defense to be terrible and over the last few games it has slowly shown its true face. The Cowboys treated the 1st half of the season like a sprint, which is costing them during the most important time of the season. Its a marathon, not a sprint. If the Eagles defensive line can contain DeMarco enough, then Romo will be forced to throw the ball which is bad news for the Cowboys. When Romo is forced to throw, he makes terrible choices and forces the ball to either Dez Bryant or Jason Witten. If we can shut those two down like last week, its highly unlikely Romo will find true success with Terrence Williams and Cole Beasley. The Eagles offense was completely contained by the Seahawks. It was an ugly game offensively as we had record lows in almost all categories during the Chip Kelly era. The good news is that we had almost 400 yards of total offense in the FIRST HALF against Dallas two weeks ago. Mark Sanchez needs to make quick decisions with the ball, throw accurately and use the run game to his advantage. The atmosphere will be completely in our favor. This is a HUGE game for the Cowboys... if they lose their playoff chances will be all but over. If the Eagles lose, we still have the Redskins and Giants which should be two wins. We have a great chance to close out the season 12-4 and 6-0 in the NFC East. Lets do it.
