9 PM this (Monday) evening at Spectrum: Addi & Jacq are professional musicians living in NYC. They met working at the Off-Broadway musical The Fantasticks. Coming from very different backgrounds, they shared a desire to create something that was truly their own. What began as a spontaneous improv jam session in the spring of 2012 has grown into something more fulfilling than they could have ever imagined. The songs were initially inspired and loosely based on missed connections ads on Craigslist. This idea grew into the broader theme of human connection, ever fascinated by the stories of how people come into each other’s lives. Moving on to the stories of their closest friends and family, they soon had a handful of songs they felt very proud of. Collectively Addi McDaniel and Jacqueline Kerrod have performed all over NYC including Lincoln Center, The Metropolitan Opera, Carnegie Hall, Birdland & Joe’s Pub. They are currently recording their first album produced by Good Child Music. addiandjacq
