The witness said she saw two people inside the vehicle and another person, a man with a black leather coat and a hood on, running to the side of the home. The witness said she didn’t think it was suspicious, though, because she thought the victims were home, according to the report. As of Friday (Jan. 9), none of the stolen items had been recovered, and there were no arrests, said Capt. Ron Arnhart of the Sheriff’s Office. Lewis said he didn’t know exactly when the copper wire was stolen from outside the business, at 1 Bauman Drive, but Festus Police got a call at 9:15 a.m. Monday about the incident. The business has Saturday hours, but is closed on Sundays. A Fantasy Pools representative said the store’s power was restored about 3:35 p.m. Tuesday (Jan. 6).
