9 years ago today God, yet again, showed that he truly was/is in charge. I was at what was scheduled to be my last OB visit with a planned delivery of our twins 3 days later. However, during the ultrasound one of my babies was not responding & not moving. I instantly panicked because I know all the terrible things that can go wrong. I was moved to a different room to wait for my hubby to pick me up (as I had driven myself to the doctor directly from work that day. I started making phones calls as my doctor told me we were delivering my boys immediately. Im crying & praying & talking to my baby. Then I felt an amazing calm settle over me just as my baby, who we assumed the worse outcome for, stretched & turned over! This was the same twin that the test early in my pregnancy said would likely have a trisomy (chromosomal) disorder & may not survive. Fast forward 9 years & I am the proud, often exasperated, frequently exhausted, constantly doing laundry but VERY blessed mother of 2 completely normal, highly gifted, sweet & loving twins (& their brothers too). They tried to tell me my baby had a chromosomal disorder but God said No...they tried to tell me my baby may have died in utero...but my God said No... #WontHeDoIt #ByHisGrace&Mercy #MyChaoticStars
