911****CRITICAL!! GORGOUS, SUPER FRIENDLY, LOVES KISSES! Wallie - Black Lab Pike County Dog Pound - Waverly, OH (bs) If you follow our page regularly, you know that the Pike County Pound will be rebuilding their inside kennels because they are no longer safe to house the many dogs that they take in. The rebuild will begin on April 8th thanks to very generous people who have donated enough to purchase some of the building materials required. To rebuild all of the kennels, every single existing kennel must be removed…..the build must be gutted. This means that they must find adopters/rescues before that date for all the dogs that are there currently. Unfortunately, the pound is currently full. The good news is that the dogs that are there are highly adoptable and really adorable dogs that should be easy to place. They desperately need everyone’s help to move all these dogs to safety. If you are interested in adopting/rescuing any of their dogs, please email Wayne at zebraswd@yahoo ASAP. Please do not hesitate to contact him if you have any questions about any of the dogs. Rescues – All of these dogs have been wormed, had initial shots and their rabies vaccine. There is no pull fee and there is transport every Thursday to the Columbus area. For other areas, we will be trying to arrange special transports so please send an email to Wayne if you are out of the Columbus area. Adopters – Please email Wayne if you have any questions about any of the dogs and he will be happy to answer your questions. Please understand that they do not cat test there. There are no cats at the pound. They can tell you if the dog is dog friendly or likely to be dog friendly based on what they have observed. Also understand that most of their dogs are strays so they may have very limited background on them. Wallie is just 1 year old and LOVES LOVES LOVES people!
