A 15 billion pound plan to upgrade the UKs road network has been confirmed by the government. The money was first announced last year but theres more detail today about how it is to be spent. In Yorkshire and the North east there will be 18 schemes worth around £2.3 billion and estimated to create 1,500 construction jobs.
