A 1972 concert performance of Jorge Bolet playing Liszts Piano Concerto No.1 in E-Flat Major with Jean Martinon conducting. Bolet plays with a combination of exquisite refinement and daring bravura, with wonderfully polished tone (what glistening runs!), natural yet expressive timing, and long elegantly-crafted phrasing.
