A 27-year-old Grandview, Mo., man has been charged with multiple felony counts in connection with 12 incidents where a gun was fired at a motor vehicle, Jackson County Prosecutor Jean Peters Baker announced today. Mohammed P. Whitaker, dob: 5-20-1986, faces 18 felony counts related to 12 shooting incidents between March 18, 2014 and April 6, 2014: seven counts of Unlawful Use of a Weapon, a Class B felony; two counts of Unlawful Use of a Weapon that resulted in injury, Class A felony; and nine counts of Armed Criminal Action.
