A 30 second ad during the superbowl costs $4.5 million. But republicans have some people believing the problem is raising the minimum wage a few dollars? THAT would break the economy? Cmon people, think about it. Why do sneakers cost so much? Well, the athlete that does the ad who makes millions and the CEO of the ad agency who makes millions and the banker who financed the company who makes millions and the lobby group that bribes the legislator who makes millions. It is NOT the workers making $7.75 per hour. Or the ACA. Or SNAP. Or public schools. THIS IS THE PROBLEM
