A 31-year-old suspect was taken into custody just after 3 p.m. on Saturday following a stand-off with police in Las Cruces East Mesa. According to Las Cruces Police Department spokesman Dan Trujillo, following the stand-off, the suspect was taken via ambulance to an El Paso hospital with what is believed to be a gunshot wound to the leg.
