A 39-year-old man has lost his life in a horrific road accident yesterday. Police said the man was allegedly hit by a truck while riding his horse along the Vatukoula Road at around 4 in the afternoon. He was rushed to the Tavua Hospital however was pronounced dead on arrival. Investigations continue as the driver remains in custody. The road death toll currently stands at 11 compared to 10 for the same period last year.
