A 75 year old man, dropped in to Neon today with his Minders as he called them, to knock out a few beats. He has been a drummer all his life and has not played since suffering a stroke 7 years ago. He told me that he has played in Rock, Dance, Blues and Orchestral bands and showed me some lovely Rumba, Cha and Tango beats. Changing rhythm, and joined by Mike Newey on guitar and Kate Hoare on Flute, the sound of Rock, Blues and Surf music was heard in the Studio. What a lovely, talented man. I do hope he comes back for more rehabilitation
