BENGALI COURT DRAMA- THIS TIME NOT INSIDE THE POLITICALLY MOTIVATED DOMESTIC KANGAROO COURT NAMED CUNNINGLY “INTERNATIONAL WAR CRIMES TRIBUNAL” TO DUPE, MISLEAD & CONFUSE THE PEOPLE BUT INSIDE A CIVIL COURT-Advocate Fatima Begum Phooljhari, Dhaka:13.03.14: When in the matter of Anglo-Saxon colonialist rulers-innovated maximum emotion- arousing legal jargon of so called “CONTEMPT OF COURT” ( আদালতের প্রতি ঘৃণা প্রদর্শন) and some Bengali judges Eccentricity that knows no bound mix together they produce a most lethal cocktail to kill the victim by judicial process! Some egomaniac, egotistical Islamic education-deprived, vainglorious Bangladeshi judges, appointed on political consideration and on the essential credential of Hasina-sycophancy is more interested, it seems in polemic rather than dispending of justice. Some even threatened to punish Muslim lawyers who fail in court to address them as “MY LORD” ( NAUJBILLAH), a most sinful polytheist term that has inborn and immanent anti-Islamic connotation. A Muslim is forbidden by ALLAH to address anyone other than ALLAH as “MY LORD”. To do so, say so or forced to say so is a MORTAL SIN in Islam. Even in recent times Indian lawyers have asked for the omission of this expression “MY LORD” from their legal jargon! Bangladeshi committed secularist newspapers editors, known for their liberalism were charged with “CONTEMPT OF COURT”. They were summoned to be present in court in person. One was fined and other acquitted. The editor’s counsel informed the media as such without going into detail reading THE ENTIRE JUDGEMENT Verbatim. For this reason their lawyer was grilled mercilessly & forced to apologise! The poor chap has had no option to avoid going to jail he had to apologise! The other day one journalist asked a government lawyer prosecuting the “WAR CRIMINALS” “WHAT IS THE BENGALI WORDS FOR “AMICUS CURIAC”? Government lawyer replied , “ IT WAS A ENGLISH WORD AND HAS NO BENGALI MEANING, OUR LAW IS WRITTEN IN ENGLISH”. When asked by the journalist, “ IN MY BENGALI NEWSPAPER WHAT SHALL I WRITE? He was told,” WRITE AMICUS CURIAC in Bengali letter. It is not meant for the public, it is only for the lawyers in the court”. Another government prosecutor chipped in and said, “ NO IT IS NOT AN ENGLISH WORD BUT LATIN, MEANING THE FRIEND OF THE JUDGES”. Defence counsel said, “ THEY ARE BOTH WRONG. IT IS A LATIN LEGAL JARGON, HAS NO BENGALI BUT MEANT “ THE FRIENDS OF THE COURT AND NOT THE JUDGES”!
