A BRIEF ENCOUNTER WITH AN ANGEL. _____________________________________ We were now adding the final touches to an event we did on Friday , my sister Vid and I both exhausted , not just from work but also from an emotional week , sat on the stairs contemplating if we should leave and then come back in time to light the candles . In walks the Cordinator for the event Narissa Field . She immediately introduced herself and I thought , what a sweet child , Bubbly and chatty and just radiating . She offered to light the candles for us closer to the start of the event and organize a few other things for me and said not to worry that she will handle everything . This was not a part of her job of course , but seeing how tired we were and after chatting with her for quite a while that day , she understood how difficult the last couple of days was for me and without hesitation , went beyond her call of duty . At the end of he night , when the event was over , we collected all of our props and again chatted with Narissa , Both my sister and I gave her a hug and kiss and I said ... Did I mention how awesome you are . She blushed and smiled , little did I know that in a few hours to follow , she would return home through the gates of heaven ! We dont know when God will call us home . This life is just an elusion , nothing belongs to us . Everything is just lent to us for a short time . Remember what is real ; the gentle way we live , how much weve loved , and the way we treat others . Goodbye sweet angel , tho i have known you for but a brief moment , you have touched my soul forever !
