A CALL TO ACTION: Knowing the numbers is key. To achieve any of the MDGs or the CRC, Thou Shall Eat Foundation calls for improvements in the Ministry of Social Welfare Gender and Childrens Affairs and Statistics Sierra Leone ability to design and evaluate updated programs and policies aimed at the needs of children and families living in poverty. Enabling and enhancing Sierra Leones ability to nationally and effectively collect and use data to address challenges and create meaningful opportunities based on the condition of children and youth apart from the general census, is key to improving accountability for the programs and policies so designed to work on behalf of all children.
