A CHRISTMAS PLEA TO ALL MY FRIENDS AND RELATIVES. In lieu of gifts for me and Ed, I would like to ask all of you to for assistance for my beloved aunt who undergone a bypass mitral valve replacement for her heart. Her name is Helen Fresto. She is a hardworking public high school teacher in Aklan, who has helped thousands of impoverished students graduate from high school. Her generous heart serviced lives of countless students, one of which was a cardiologist in the Philippine Heart Center who offered her a big discount for his professional fee. The angiogram procedure and valve replacement cost almost 1 million pesos. Thanks to generous donors and help from our friends, 80% of this amount has been raised but we still cant get her out of the hospital due to unpaid bills and medication she still needs to recover.
