A Call to Guard This is a documentation of a dream I received many years ago. I cannot state the time frame in which I received it because the documentation of it on my BlogSpot appears to have been deleted off. It is a very simple revelation. The gifting of the Holy Spirit in operation is the Gift of the Word of Knowledge. Revelation: In the dream I was looking upon the first divine contact, ever revealed to me by the Lord God, walking around a Walmart store. He was toting around a box that had copies of his book in it. It was the first book he had wrote, and I recognized it clearly. On each side of him was a man. The two men wore black suits, white shirts, and black ties. They followed him around everywhere he walked. As I watched him walking around everywhere, I had a strong sensing that the two men were guarding his book. After that sensing I saw him and the two men walk around a store shelf. Then I awoke. Understanding given: I never understood the dream until last night when I was laying down meditating. As I did so, the Lord God brought it back to my remembrance; with a specific prompting that the Word of Knowledge He was revealing to me, through the man and the guards, was that there would be a need to guard books pertaining to one’s ministry of His works (works committed to His servants). He used the illustration of the man, who is a published author that I know, and have several books of his, to reveal to me the need to protect writings, including mine, against those who seek to obtain them, and market them for themselves. Basically, the Lord God is revealing the need to guard one’s ministry against people who will seek to use the works of the gospel for selfish sake; not really caring at all about the works of the Lord God poured out. Through the revealing of the suits, the Lord God prompted me to the suits symbolically representing the Secret Service. To understand why the Lord God would impress me with that insight, one only needs to understand that the Secret Service, here in America, is well known and recognized for being guards, and for dealing with identity theft. With symbolism towards their specific field, and my sensing them protecting his books, the Lord God was revealing and confirming a need of protection towards His works poured through His servants. You see, books are part of both: people’s identities, and people’s purposes. With servants of the Lord God however, their identity and purpose is intertwined with His identity and purpose (the gospel). That is why the Lord God drew my focus towards his book itself, and not him. His identity, and the work the Lord God poured through him, are intermingled into one through his book (his ministry in the Lord God). It is the same with every servant of the Lord God. The Lord God knows, as in Biblical days, there are many who seek the recognition of His works for all the wrong reason; while embracing none of His ways. The gospel is not just something that is given for the sake of material gain; though there is no doubt that the Lord God blesses His servants with the works He pours through them. He blesses His servants materialistically, but even more so spiritually. Yet so many care not about spiritual blessings, but only seek only material gain from it. The Lord God does not entrust such people with His works, and He is warning me, and all His servants, through this revelation, that there is a great need for such guarding’s now. A guarding that not only protects His works, but their identity in Him (the ministry given unto them by Him). Supporting Scripture: 1 Corinthians 9:12-18 “Nevertheless we have not used this right, but endured all things lest we hinder the gospel of Christ. Do you not know that those who minister the holy things eat of the things of the temple, and those who serve at the alter partake of the offerings of the alter? Even so the Lord has commanded that those who preach the gospel should live from the gospel. But I have used none of these things, nor have I written these things that it should be done to me; for it would be better for me to die than that anyone should make my boasting void. For if I preach the gospel, I have nothing to boast of, for necessity is laid upon me; yes, woe is me if I do not preach the gospel! For if I do this willingly, I have a reward (sought out natural materialistic rewards only), but if against my will, I have been entrusted with a stewardship (both spiritual and natural rewards). What is my reward? That when I preach the gospel of Christ, I may present the gospel without charge (seek to only prosper materialistically), that I may not abuse my authority in the gospel” (NKJV, 1982). 1 Timothy 1:8-11 “Now the purpose of the commandment is love from a pure heart, from a good conscience, and from sincere faith, from which some, having strayed, have turned aside to idle talk, desiring to be teachers of the law, understanding neither what they say nor the things which they affirm. But we know that the law is good if one uses it lawfully, knowing this: that the law is not made for a righteous person, but for the lawless and insubordinate, for the ungodly and for sinners, for the unholy and profane, for murderers of fathers and murderers of mothers, for manslayers, for fornicators, for sodomites, for kidnappers, for liars, for perjurers, and if there is any other thing that is contrary to sound doctrine, according to the glorious gospel of the blessed God which was committed to my (servants of the Lord God today) trust” (NKJV, 1982). Personal sharing: Ever since I began writing works of the Lord God, I have dealt with hackers hacking into my computers and obtaining my writings. Whether it is manuscripts of my books, poetry written, or articles I have written. I dealt with it the best that I could for a long time. Then one computer after another, on my fourth one now, began to be hacked so severely that no works I do on the computer is really safe. That reality hit me hard when I had the first book, which is one of a series of 13 books, titled Out-of Control Fear, completely erased off of my computer twice; not to mention erased off of a flash-drive I had also saved it on. I do not know what to think about all the hacking anymore, for I have reached the point that I really do not want to continue writing because of it all. I have no idea who it is that is doing the hacking, and I do not want to put anymore in their hands. As a matter of fact, to prevent one of my books from being stolen I began to publish it on my copyright protected webpage. Nonetheless, I am just like the Apostle Paul in his statement in verse 17 of 1 Corinthians 9. I have been entrusted with a work from the Lord God, and my writings are part of that work. I do not write for fame and fortune. The books the Lord God gives me is meant for the support of myself, my obligations, and for the ministry I hold. Publishing them, and receiving the royalties they produce, helps me maintain my obligations and continue publishing other purposed books; so that understand of the gospel, chosen to be poured through me, can come to be. With that understanding being given to me, I feel strongly led to encourage people to do whatever needs to be done, to protect the works poured through you. We are living in a time in which technology threatens just as much as it protects; that reality people do not need to be naïve about. As for me, well, I am going to have to get used to working on a word processor (typewriter) again; along with getting me a safe to keep my writings in. So that they will be safe until I put them in the hands of publisher. I greatly encourage such actions with others; unless you have an unhackable security system.
