A Change is Gonna Come! Why is truth anathema in human societies, it is because telling the truth as much as humanly possible is the only means that can defeat the Enemy Within the design for human existence required for survival in the ‘state of nature’ which was successfully practiced for such an extended period of upwards of Two Hundred Thousand years that it precipitated arrested development in members of the human species that they would continue to be amoral animals, that their ideology would be that ‘might is right,’ that their ethos would be competition, that they would interminably play the roles of territorial predator and hapless prey; and, rely on coercion to motivate the other. The faint hope for change, again a notion extracted from the “Dune Trilogy” by Frank Herbert the second volume of the greatest work of imagination of all time, “Dune Messiah,” is that to do act inconsistent with the moral values they embrace in concept human beings have to be unaware of what they are doing thus causing telling the truth the means of knowing what they are doing to be anathema to the perpetuation of coercion determined culture. I have been telling truth consigning these to the vacuum that is the World Wide Web and making human beings no what they are doing, making them aware that it is becoming adept at using coercion is what determined the intrinsic and extrinsic nature of human culture and causes them to be determined not free; that the ultimate paradox and consummate irony of sentient existence is that sentience is one of the myriad adaptations precipitated by the extreme conditions and circumstances attending a nascent planet striving to achieve ecological equilibrium but that the sentient species must perforce evolve into a physical environment that necessitates the newly evolved species becoming adept at utilizing force to survive determining the nature of their culture; that when moral values are belatedly discovered to make possible the coexistence of these with the ancient deeply embedded culture requires an accommodation that causes the individual to not know what they are doing that they embrace moral values in concept while in precept they remain agents of coercion determined culture. Coercion determined culture is a social structure of lies piled on lies by the operation of vicious circles which the majority were coerced into practicing to satisfy needs, wants, and desires; and, the truths I tell I hope are creating cracks in that structure that one day will cause it to come tumbling down, for example, the blatant lie that Jesus was Caucasian; the treatment of the people of Iraq and Native American populations that the emergence of ISIS has brought to the center of the world stage; and, the accurate description of the human dilemma and the role of the social organization in perpetuating coercion determined culture by rewarding the practice of the ways of thinking, attitudes and patterns of behavior that compose that culture and that a just society will only be possible is this is changed to reward the practice of moral values. The question is will the UN conference on climate change take the low road and be a publicity extravaganza for the dissemination of concepts based on the notion that accumulation of power is what is required to satisfy needs, wants and desires; or, will it take the high road to function and to creating a future for the human species by embracing the notion that telling the truth as much as humanly possible is the way to resolve the human dilemma and create enduring positive developments by causing individuals to see the other not as prey, never as prey, but as beings worthy of respect, needful of compassion; and, most of all, of love. One by one I call you out to join hands with me and cooperate to create a future for our species by changing the man or woman in your mirrors by telling the truth as much as humanly possible and so achieving the morality and civility that will overcome the onset of global warming, cause us to be victorious in the war on poverty; and, develop the intelligence to precipitate a future redolent and replete with peach and prosperity in which every individual has the possibility of happiness.
