A Christian can NEVER commit the sin the Pharisees were in DANGER - TopicsExpress

A Christian can NEVER commit the sin the Pharisees were in DANGER of eternal damnation for unless they went back into time when Jesus preached upon the earth and told Jesus to His face that He did His miracles and works with an unclean spirit in them. I fully am convinced that the Blaspheming the Holy Spirit was directed fully at the leaders of Jesus day. Miracle after miracle in front of the Pharisees and Sadducees and Scribes, they accuse Him of having Beezlebub in Him. They were actually saying He was doing His works by the devil, an unclean spirit in some versions. The Holy Spirit is not a demon. The Holy Spirit is the power of God. This is why He told them they were in DANGER of eternal damnation and it was unpardonable. If they would have repented from their sin (Sin is the fall of Adam, living separated from God) and turn to Christ (accept Jesus Christ for who He said He was, Messiah, God in the flesh as the Son and Believed in Jesus, denied their life and followed Jesus, became born again), they would be forgiven, but if they went to their graves without ever believing and still accused Jesus in their hearts, they would be in hell. Here is a timeline of events that are set before Jesus tells the religious leaders they are in DANGER of eternal damnation, Mark 3:29. Remember, Jesus is talking to the Pharisees while He is ministering to the crowd. Also another fact, while Jesus did His ministry on earth, the religious leaders would send out some of their own to follow Jesus around and spy and report back to the head leader and the rest of the religious leaders. And these high paid leaders were losing their popularity and their money fast. Greed was in their prideful hearts. On the Sabbath Jesus heals a mans hand on the Sabbath, In Mark 3:1, Jesus enters the synagogue on the SABBATH. In the previous text Jesus says in Mark 2:27 And He said to them, The sabbath was made for man, not man for the Sabbath. Jesus disciples were picking wheat on the Sabbath, this was considered work and were breaking the Sabbath Law., Now lets go to the next sections, in Mark 3:1-6 Jesus heals a mans hand in the SYNAGOGUE ON THE SABBATH, and they watched Him. All the people in the synagogue watch Jesus heal the mans hand. That included the Pharisee spies. They wanted to see if Jesus was going to break the sabbath law to they could accuse Him of breaking the Law. (these are Lawyers) These spies are setting up the evidence they will need later on to convict Jesus of a crime. See their heart intent, there is not love in the leaders to see that this man could be the long awaited Messiah. Jesus asks if it is lawful in verse 4 to do good on the sabbath days, or to do evil? to save life or kill? Jesus is dealing with their heart and thinking as HE is very aware of their thoughts and heart. Jesus in verse 5 looked round about with anger on them, being grieved ( the Holy Spirit is grieved here) for the hardness of their hearts, He then says to the man, stretch forth thine hand. And he stretched it out and his hand was restored whole as the other. In verse 6 And the Pharisees went forth, and straightway took counsel with the Herodians against Him, how they might destroy Him. They sought out revenge for breaking the Sabbath, but overlooked a great miracle. Their hearts were HARD and evil. In the next scene Mark 3:7-12 LARGE CROWDS follow Jesus, they are convinced He is who He says He is, the Messiah. He and his disciples seek rest in a small boat across the lake. He had healed MANY from plagues and unclean spirits. Even the unclean spirits in the people fell down before Jesus and cried, Thou art the Son of God. And Jesus charged the spirits straitly they should not make Him known as the Messiah because the people were looking for a King to destroy Rome at the time of His ministry. Next section, Jesus selects the 12 Disciples Mark 3:13-19, Now Jesus has specific men He chose to continue His work to preach and heal sicknesses and cast of devils when the day of His crucifixion for sin and resurrection of His life and ascension would be in the future. These men would be witnesses of supernatural power and miracles to bring the message of hope, faith and love by. In Mark 3:20-35 RELIGIOUS LEADERS ACCUSE JESUS OF BEING SATAN this is why Jesus tells them they are in DANGER of eternal punishment. Because calling Jesus a demon, saying He is doing works of the devil was insulting the power of God in Him and God because Jesus is God in human form. The pharisees could not deny Jesus miraculous and supernatural power. They refused to BELIEVE that His power was from GOD, however, because then they would have to accept Him as the Messiah. Their PRIDE would not let them do that. So in an attempt to DESTROY Jesus POPULARITY among the PEOPLE, they accused Him of having power from Satan. Jesus reply to them showed them that their argument did not make sense. In verses Mark 3:23-30Jesus tells the parable,23 And he called them [unto him], and said unto them in parables, How can Satan cast out Satan? 24 And if a kingdom be divided against itself, that kingdom cannot stand. 25 And if a house be divided against itself, that house cannot stand. 26 And if Satan rise up against himself, and be divided, he cannot stand, but hath an end. 27 No man can enter into a strong mans house, and spoil his goods, except he will first bind the strong man; and then he will spoil his house. 28 Verily I say unto you, All sins shall be forgiven unto the sons of men, and blasphemies wherewith soever they shall blaspheme: 29 But he that shall blaspheme against the Holy Ghost hath never forgiveness, but is in danger of eternal damnation: 30 Because they said, He hath an unclean spirit. So, to the reader of these Scriptures, a Christian can never blaspheme the Holy Spirit because a Christain would not think this way with the Holy Spirit living in them. But an ememy could convince you to believe a lie that you have committed it. That is why it is important to read the word daily and dismiss thoughts and take them captive under Christ that their darkness will be exposed and you can dismiss it as a lie. The devils mode of operation is to kill the testimony of Jesus Christ and Christian, to steal eternal peace from the mind and heart of the Christian and to destroy the truth with a lie. You have not Blasphemed the Holy Spirit. Please read your Bible in context and in depth of interpretation of the Holy Spirit. The only unforgivable sin is disbelief in Jesus Christ as Lord and Savior.
