A Constitutional Convention (Con-Con) is the LAST thing we need right now! With this current rogue Congress we have in office, and the liberal morons we have in the state governments, they would just turn these united States into a communist state! A Constitutional Convention (Con-Con) as advocated by Neo-Con Mark Levin, would throw open the gates to completely rewriting the Constitution. Advocates and fans of Levin say this would never happen, but the language of Article V of the Constitution places no restrictions on what could happen once a convention of states is convened. The precedent lies in the creation of the Constitution itself. Public schools today do not teach that the framers of our current Constitution exceeded their authority to amend the Articles of Confederation; the reasons or excuses have no standing. The fact that they did it and that it has been upheld by the High Court is its own imprimatur. It should be worth noting that the con-con method of amending the Constitution has NEVER been used in over 220 years precisely because it is such a dangerous method. With todays unscrupulous and criminally minded politicians who DAILY violate their oath to the Constitution, they would most assuredly abolish it altogether given the chance. Im not just talking about federal politicians either. Im talking about the vast majority of politicians in EVERY statehouse in the country! These are most dangerous times for the nation and the threat is in every legislative chamber and executive office in the land!
