A Curse Turned Into Blessing.... (read II Samuel Chapter 9) II Samuel 9:7 ~~And David said unto him, Fear not: for I will surely shew thee kindness for Jonathan thy fathers sake, and will restore thee all the land of Saul thy father; and thou shalt eat bread at my table continually. I was talking with the Lord this morning about some things that are happening in my life right now and telling Him that I trust Him and I need Him, telling Him how I need His wisdom to make right decisions and yes, lamenting a bit over some things and when I opened my bible to read the Lord took me to II Samuel chapter 9. At the top of the page was the name Mephibosheth, now if you are a reader of the bible you will know that this is Mephibosheth is the son of Jonathan, who was the son of king Saul. This man was lame in both his feet. I started to turn from there and possibly go to Psalm 119 when I heard the Spirit of the Lord say read here. Once I read the chapter I began to thank the Lord with tears and I asked Him what scripture verse to give today and verse 7 is what I felt he wanted me to give. You who are doing the will of the Father to the best of your ability I say to you the Father sees you and he wants you to know that He does, you are not forgotten, forge forward, keep your eyes on Him dont doubt, stay the course. From todays verse there are four things to take into your spirit 1. Fear not. 2. The Lord is showing you kindness. 3. Restoration is come. 4. You will always eat at the Kings table. Fix your eyes on the Lord set your heart on Him do not be afraid. No fear, No doubts. I feel this so deeply in my spirit. Keep on praying Children of the Most High God your work is not in vain. Walk in faith, trust and believe totally, completely with all your heart, with all your strength and might, have faith, trust and believe on the Lord. Mephibosheth means: A curse turned into blessing; Exterminator of shame.
