A DIFFERENT KICK...........A boy Deepesh was brought to my clinic 6 yrs ago by his hawker father and cook mother to learn some basic knowledge and also to help me in my clinic affairs of taking ECG and making files.Being a sharp boy he learned things quickly and became my able assistant in my practice.He was also good in studies and his difficulties in maths ,biology and english were properly taken care by my son Pranav in his free time and sometimes on sundays. Boy started doing well in exams and in 10th class shifted to good school Bal Vinay Mandir.There also he was doing fairly well and this year in 12 th standard he scored 85%marks in state board exam.His parents were not interested in his further studies due to shortage of funds but were kin to take him to their shop of selling newspapers.But i didnt like that idea talked to my college owner friend and got him admitted in best engineering college of Indore in computer science.I am really thankful to my college owner friend for extending his outright support not only in getting him admitted but also to get him yearly govn scholarship .Today when he came to me in college uniform and with his 1st year college kit i had immense satisfaction of helping one poor boy to persue his desired career. Being in medical profession we do get satisfaction and joy in treating poor patients ,in bringing them back from the crutches of deadly diseases,in donating blood to the dying patients,doing free service and even giving money to bye medicines and see the feeling of gratitude in their eyes. But friends i can assure you this was a different feeling,a deep sense of self satisfaction, a great feeling of being humane. IT WAS INDEED A DIFFERENT KICK AND MAY BE BIT ADDICTIVE.
