This morning, Hamas terrorists violated the latest internationally recognized ceasefire agreement by brutally kidnapping 2nd. Lt. Hadar Goldin. Lt. Goldin, a 23-year-old IDF officer from Kfar Saba, was captured using Hamas’s terror tunnel systems. We are outraged and appalled by this blatant disregard for international law and for basic human decency. Hamas’s use of a humanitarian ceasefire agreement to carry out a covert terrorist attack is unacceptable and must be condemned strongly by the entire international community. The IDF is conducting intelligence efforts and extensive searches and will do everything necessary to locate the missing soldier. As we enter Shabbat, our prayers are with the family of Lt. Goldin.
