Yeah…I finally got the wedding videos formatted and finished and gave to the kids today. What a lovely keepsake that will be, thanks to my dear nephew who took charge of my camcorder; and yes, I’ve been sobbing again on and off all the time I’ve been working on them :’)) So at last I was able to start working on one of the monthly September BOMs that arrived. Bertie for October—so cute, and my favorite month to boot!! Cut out all my flannels and started laying out the appliques. Got them where I wanted them and jumped right on the machine blanket stitch I’ve done on the series. Got that done and tonight I’ll try to do the embroidery handwork while I watch the Mariners. Still had a little time left so I worked on the border half square triangles. Trimmed them up and laid them out in the proper color sequence and seamed up the border rows. So those will be ready to attach once I get the applique finished. Puppy Porter visited today too and she was so good; we took play breaks in the backyard, but she really relaxed today and when I was about ready to take her home after lunch, she trotted up to quilt central and crashed under the longarm…so cute, all on her own, so I didn’t have the heart to wake her and whisk her away—so she spent the day…
