A Daughters Love for her Mum- Breathtaking!! EM, we are all so very proud... Mum I’ll never forget every time you stayed over night at hospital and had to sleep on one of those horrible chairs, barely ever (I think once or twice) did you get a recliner, but you never complained, All those times you had to sleep by my side because I couldn’t roll onto my side by myself, how every 5 hours you never forgot to give me my medication, how you needed to do everything for me, take me to the toilet, give me showers, wash and brush my hair, put my shoes on, pick things up for me every time I dropped it on the floor, make every meal, pour every drink, I will never forget those 9.45am pancakes and coffee in bed, or how you would let me massage your feet because you knew it took every bit of energy to use pressure on your feet with my hands when my motor skills weren’t working, how you could put bio-oil on every scar (even the fresh ones), how you would make sure I would never went out without at least a little bit of lipstick because you knew how much it meant, how you would ensure that when I was in hospital there was a never ending supply of junk food or how when you took me shopping little kids would stand and point and you pointed over to a david jones wall where Miranda kerr was and said “that will be you one day”. I never forget all those times you held me in your arms and just let me cry. You risked your marriage, your friendships, your financial security and your health just to be there for me whenever I needed you. I love you and would not be here today without you...
