A Defense Department inspector general found that contractor Northrop Grumman overcharged taxpayers over $100 million, with an employee billing 100 hours a day for overtime pay. Our brothers and sisters take pride in the work that they do. Too bad the same cant be said of private contractors, who are often in it for the money alone. The best way to protect taxpayer money is still by keep public services where they belong, that is, in public hands.
