Producer Siddharth Roy Kapur confirmed the news, “Yes its true. We wanted an original, authentic character for the role.” Sources tell us that Digvijay Singh was also approached for a key role in the movie ‘Mental’ along side Salman Khan. “Madam ji wanted me to take up Ghanchakkar,” said Singh. “She said I’d fit the role perfectly.” Congress spokesperson, Sanjay Jha seemed very pleased with this step, “I think its a very secular move by the Congress party. We were originally very confused as to who to pick for the role – A tough decision between Digvijay Singh and Rahul Gandhi.
