A Journalist who fled persecution Passes away!! Million Shurubie an Ethiopian Journalist passes away in Kenya on Monday (13, October, 2014). He fled persecution with others two dozens of Journalists from Ethiopian authorities. In the past 3 months alone 22 journalist fled the country although since he has left it has been just 6 weeks! Over 30 journalists remain in Ethiopian notorious prisons with others 500,0000 civilians of all walks of life (politicians, peasants, students, professionals) all are blamed for not supporting governments repressive systems. May your Soul Rest in peace dear young journalist Million Shurubie as you passed away in exile, where you fled persecution for the cause you strongly believed by speaking out the truth for voicelessly supressed majority through your independent journalism. Your death isnt in vain as you have proved that you are much better than those who persecuted you and millions of others in your position.
