Can I just say how glad I am that College Football season is underway! I am a huge fan of three teams: 1) I have been a University of Louisville Football fan since before I was born! (My Uncle Babe Ray caught Johnny Unitas first touchdown pass at U of L in 1951!) The Cards start their season on Monday against the Miami Hurricanes.Go CARDS!!! 2) I have been a fan of the Army Black Knights since attending West Point myself in the 1970s. As a 78 grad, I look forward to the season opener against the University of Buffalo Bulls this coming Saturday, September 6. Go ARMY!!! 3) I have been a fan of the North Dakota State Bison since moving here to Fargo in 2009. The defending Three Time National Champions (Division 1 FCS), opened their season yesterday with a big win (34-14) over the Iowa State Cyclones. This is their 5th Straight Win over FBS opponents and their 25th straight victory in a row - going back to the 2012 season- a new record! Go BISON!!! All three teams have new head coaches this year --and the Cards are playing in a new conference, the Atlantic Coast Conference (ACC)-- so ... it should be an interesting year!
