A LESSON TO LEARN FROM KANO STATE OVERSEAS SCHOLARSHIP SCHEME Last year Kano state Government, under the leadership of Engr Dr Rabiu Musa Kwankwaso. Sponsored thousands of youths to study in some foreign Universities around the World especially Malaysia, Cyprus, Egypt, India, England. and he also sponsored some youths into Aviation and marine institutes in varoius countries like Jordan, USA, China, etc. But almost eighty percent of the youths are to undergo for undergraduate studies. The Kano state Government said that they sponsored the youths in other to go for undergraduate studies, because they are the one that are looking for good future now. At the Nnamdi Azikiwe international Airport Abuja venue of the depature of the students, during his farewell speech. The Executive Governor of Kano state Engr Dr Rabiu Musa Kwankwaso, he told the youths that they should utilize the opportunity they have to study in foreign countries. And he also told the student that will undergo for pilot training, that if they have job opportunity after they finish their training in the country where they studied that they should stay and do it there. He said this in Hausa: Shi pilot a sama aka sanshi bawai a kasa ba, Mudai fatanmu idan kun samu aiki kudunga turo ma iyayenku da Daloli. Meaning: that pilot is well know in the sky not in land our hope is that if you people are employed, you should try and be sending Dollars to your parents! And he also said, we sponsored you people in other to help yourselves and your parents. The Kano state Government have nothing to benefit from you after you were employed, we do this to you in other to empower you people to stand with your legs! But sadly in Kaduna state our state Government under the leadership of Alhaji Mukhtar Ramalan Yero, are willing to sponsor youths to go for post- graduate studies and very few ones to go for undergraduate studies, after we have alot of millions of unemployed graduates. Instead for the so called silent archiever to provide employement opportunities into Aviation and Marine sectors to our younger generations, but they prefer to sponsored our graduates who are in desperate need of job. My fellow kaduna people is this a youth empowerment EMPOWERMENT???? Because the undergraduate are the ones that are looking for good and sustainable future, not the graduates that they already knows their fate already. Our graduates needs jobs opportunity not overseas scholarships! And Kano state Government send their youths to developed countries, not underdeveloped country like Uganda. Please my fellow Kaduna people what is in Uganda? The country that heavenly rely on European countries assistance, but our Government want to take our students their. The country that uptill now failed to overcome the crises of (LORD RESISTANCE ARMY L.R.A) but our state Government will take our students their? Let me repeat this again: even Lagos state is far ahead of Uganda in every aspect, believe it or not. MAY ALMIGHTY GOD GIVE US A CREDIBLE LEADER WHO WILL TRANSFORM OUR DEAR STATE.
