A MESSAGE TO ALL PASTORS, CHURCH OR MINISTRY LEADERS In the living room intimacy this morning God spoke into my spirit a topic, Whats Delaying His Return, with the following questions... Is the Bride ready or getting Ready? Are you Building my Church? Over the next few days, I will be posting on these questions through our blog, videos or in feed conversations. I pray that the messages will be an opportunity for you to reflect and assess your position and give honest responses. Heres todays message - Is the bride ready or getting ready? Although it appears that most weddings that I have attended gives a specific time for the wedding, but when you get there the bride is rarely ready at the scheduled time. In some cases the bride comes in anywhere from 30 minutes to 3+ hours. The reasons have been from, dress got messed up, limo broke down, accident, perhaps one of the bridal party didnt fly in on time, or the bride got cold feet etc.... Todays focus is not on the lateness or delay but on the brides preparation. Ill use this natural analogy for todays conversation. Even before a bride gets a groom she plans for her wedding. When she is actually proposed to she goes into high gear preparation so the wedding would be a great success. In the months ahead she daydreams of the groom to be, the food, her dress, the guests and all her family and friends that she has not seen for many years. She lives with excitement and expectation of the great day. Besides all this her greatest moments are every time she thinks of spending the rest of her life with her groom.
