A Man Of His Word Im at day 14 and at a cross road. I knew going into this detox and fast, Id experience stuff. I knew Id be completely honest, open, transparent. I will share my heart, but I ask no one rescues me. I need to see God be a Man of His Word. Eating healthy has taken its toll on my budget. Im to that point, I can throw in the towel and eat or press in, continue, no matter the out come. Yes, Billee has food and theres food in the house. its the fresh stuff, the fruits and veggies Im having a hard time keeping stocked up on. Thats what Im dealing with, now let me share my heart. I have lived years in a mindset of being a poor beggar. Im am breaking free from that. The Lord has always been a Man of His Word. The bible is full of His promises. The detoxing I think Im coming out of, but will be entering now a spiritual cleansing. There are things I want to see and do. I want to learn to forgive my mom, dad and brother. I am wanting freedom from well, fat me. I want to dance before the Lord, without my body or the public saying- oh!!! Please stop. I want to be able to lay hands on the blind and see eyes opened. I want to pray for the lame and see them walk. I know there is a world in need, I want to love people enough to care. I know to get there, I must first walk here. Detoxing years of bad eating habits. Fasting, learning to die to the flesh, pressing in; with that I know God, will be a Man of His Word. My life is a good one, I am blessed. I know people struggle. My present struggle is my own choice. I know some dont have a choice, but I know a God, a Man of His Word. I dont know what it is you all need, but I know A God who keeps His Word. I talked to Shirley prior to this post. I knew I was coming to this cross road; of either having to stop or continue to press in, without having a hand out. Her response to me, test God in this. I will test God in this and I look forward in sharing the out come. For I know the God I serve; He is a man of His word. And my God shall supply all your need according to His riches in glory by Christ Jesus. (Philippians 4:18, NKJ) M
