A Message from Barts Pathology Museum Many of tonights attendees (namely the Chopin Society) will not have attended Barts Pathology Museum before. Please be aware that this is a museum which houses human tissue in specimens pots, and that the issue of Chopins Heart and possible tuberculosis or cystic fibrosis will be touched upon during tonights talks. The rest of the funds from ticket sales go towards the renovation of this 1879 museum which needs repairs and is also in the middle of a period of conservation - in fact prior to 2012 the venue wasnt open for events at all. Helping at the event tonight will be several volunteers as this whole museum has only one full-time staff member and one line manager who is based across three sites, so please bear that in mind during the evening.
