A Message from Reynolds Water Islamorada- Regarding: Key Largo/Tavernier/Old Hwy. Woods Ave. to Tavernier Creek. Restoration to constructed areas of US 1 from Atlantic Blvd to MM 96.5 and MM 93 to Tavernier Creek Waterway north side beginning 8/15/2013 and will continue until completion. Work includes final grading, placing sod and asphalt restoration to bike path and roadway. Open Cut installation in this area is complete. Open Cut installation continues on Old Hwy from Woods Ave. to Tavernier Creek. The installation is approaching Bessie Rd. from the south. Old Hwy access from US 1 at Bessie Rd. will be affected for 2-3 days next week. Please use caution in the area. Tavernier Creek channel crossing mobilization begins Monday 8/12/2013 and will be done in 2 phases. Sod restoration to median swales of US 1 from MM93 to MM96.5 continues. The work will not require any lane closures. Open cut installation in this area will resume following the completion of Old Hwy. Woods Ave to Tavernier Creek open cut installation.
